About this Role

As MEC Chairs, we help organize the annual competition, which includes managing the logistics, corporate relations and marketing for the competition. The competition, which takes place across a two-day weekend, looks to host over 350 students annually and Co-Chairing is a great opportunity to understand the ins-and-outs of event planning.

In this role, the largest challenges are faced during the competition itself, where despite several months of planning, blunders often occur. You must be able to problem solve on the fly in this role, organizing your 30+ member team and playing to everyone’s strengths and weaknesses.
