Biography
Hello, my engineering friends, you can call me Jess. I am in my third year of chemical engineering, and my favourite course so far is organic chemistry because I got to make banana-smelling chemicals and orange oil. I also like statistics if we were not tested on it. On the days when I have free time, I explore Toronto to find the best cup of matcha possible. I have an interest in nuclear energy and would love to be in an engineering position that specializes in that topic.
About this Role
As Vice President Communications, my daily responsibilities include monitoring our social media platforms and email, creating content and outreach opportunities. Like all executive positions, I have my own committee, and we have bi-weekly meetings to discuss progress and future media projects that the engineering community would be interested in. I also overlook the updates and management of the IT Manager, Marketing and Media Manager, and The BreakingMUES subdivision, consisting of our Engigators (our newspaper team), and Podcast Hosts. The Communications Committee look forward to designing great media for everyone this year!
