Toronto Met. Aero Design (TMAD)

Toronto Met Aero Design is a student-run team that designs and manufactures remote-controlled aircraft for SAE Aero, a design series competition. For over 30 years TMAD has given students opportunities to apply what they have learned in class to real life. Collectively, our achievements in the competition include placing 1st in flight, 1st in presentation and being the top Canadian team overall. The aircraft built for this competition are a reflection of the collaborative efforts of all members. Amid the year long process, the team becomes an exercise in networking and mentoring.
